Fukushima Radiation Now A Global Disaster: Japan Finally Asks World For Help, Two Years Too Late

The International Business Times recently reported:

Fukushima Radiation Now A Global Disaster: Japan Finally Asks World For Help, Two Years Too Late.

The article says that the Russians have offered to help, but there has been no response from Japan.  The article goes on to say

that Chernobyl only contained 180 tons of nuclear material prior to the catastrophe; comparatively, Fukushima contained 1,760 tons of nuclear material.

The Chernobyl event was over in days; the disaster at Fukushima is unmitigated after years.  TEPCO remains in charge.   When the corporations are part of serious problems, who is to hold them accountable, in this situation, for the safety of the world?
