No foreseeable end to Fukushima’s daily dumping of radioactive waste to Pacific Ocean

Some believe that the solution to pollution is dilution, and that  the Pacific ocean is vast.  This is a cute idea, but what is the evidence to support it?   If this is scientifically sound,  where is the data about the intervention group and the control group?  Some people regard the Pacific as a vast collection of water, but others believe that is the source of life.  If the ocean dies, we humans most certainly will not survive.
